THE DARE II DECLARE WORD CHALLENGE!
How did the ‘Dare to Declare’ Challenge come about?
About 3 weeks ago, I was sitting on my bed praying and meditating and the Lord spoke to me and said, “I want to bless My people and I want My people to be victorious.” He continued by telling me we live beneath that which He has for us and that our words have the power to release blessings over our lives. However, we spend more time speaking curses, words of doubt and negativity, and all the wrong words than we do speaking words of power and faith. With our mouths we sabotage and even cancel out our own blessings but then we blame God for what we’ve done through our own words. We forget that Proverbs 18:21 says death and life are in the power of the tongue and they that love it will eat the fruit thereof, and Jesus basically summarizes this when He says you will have whatever you say in Mark 11:23. The Amplified translation of Proverbs 18:21 really make it extremely clear and to the point, “Words kill, words give life; they’re either poison or fruit—you choose.”
Well, during the time God was ministering to me, He then impressed upon my heart to initiate a Word Challenge to the masses; one that has the ability to change the lives, circumstances and even impact the future of those who faithfully participate and believe to see God’s very best in their lives.

So what exactly is the Challenge?
In essence, there are two Scriptures that summarize the Challenge. Job 22:28 says, “Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee” and 2 Corinthians 10:5, “Casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.” Though there’s a little bit more to the Challenge than just decreeing and casting down arguments, these two Scriptures gives a great overview of what we’re doing. I will be giving specific details later this week so that the participants can begin preparing for what I believe will be life changing to all who commit and believe!
What is the purpose?
So that the people of God can align themselves with the Word of God and position themselves to being able to receive God’s very best for them. Also to help catapult a new habit and commitment of being ever-so-mindful of the words we use and remembering how powerful our words are; thus, speaking the right things and rebuking the wrong things.
Who can participate in the Challenge?
Whosoever will. The saints of God, primarily; however, if someone wants to participate in the Challenge but aren’t saved, they can pray the prayer of salvation (see below) and then join in on the Challenge.
What does one need in order to participate?
A willing and believing heart along with commitment and faith; and we know that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God so ultimately they need the Word of God, for without nothing can be done.
When does the Challenge start?
We will begin November 15, 2009.
How long will the Challenge last?
Phase I, which begins Nov. 15th, will last for a period of 40 days. The 40th day, which is the last day, falls on Christmas Eve.
Phase I?
Yes, this is Phase One of the Challenge. There will be other Phases that will follow.
Any closing remarks?
God wants to bless His people and His people wants to be blessed, and it’s time for us to get serious and put our heart, mind and mouth into agreement with God’s Word; and I personally believe that God is going to do some mighty things in the lives of His people during and even after this Challenge. I believe some will be delivered, and some will have weights broken off of them. I believe some will experience a higher level of closeness and intimacy with Christ, while some will see quick manifestations of that which they’re asking and believing (really believing) God for. I believe that some will change so much that others will notice that change and will be encouraged. I believe God will do above and beyond to those who are faithful and truly seeking God during this Challenge!
Amen.
PRAYER FOR SALVATION
Father, forgive me for all of my sins against You, myself and others. I realize I need You in my life. With my mouth I confess that Jesus is Lord and in my heart I believe that You raised Jesus from the dead, and according to Your Word I am saved from the penalty of sin. Thank You, Lord, for forgiving me and I invite You to live in my heart as Lord and Savior. Thank You Lord. It is in Jesus’ name that I pray this prayer. Amen.
